In this video we discuss the number one fix for the waiter’s serve, in my opinion. The racket drop seems to be one of the most difficult pieces of the serve to master for some players. The constant use of the arm in the wrong direction is the cause. More specifically, the elbow. Elbow up on your tennis serve. The elbow needs to be going up as you approach contact. It activates the external shoulder rotation that stretches the shoulder muscles. Depending on your flexibility, you will get a good amount of effortless power. Hope this helps! Good luck and stay loose!
thanks for the insight. I am trying to get my serve swing back to the basics after multiple surgeries
Thanks for the comment Chuck. I hope the come back is successful. Good luck and stay loose!
